Chocolate peanut rice krispie bars

Directions

  1. In a bowl mix the peanut butter and rice krispies. Works better to do this by hand.
  2. Then heat in a sauce pan the sugar and corn syrup until the sugar disolves.
  3. Do not boil.
  4. Pour the liquid over the rice krispies and mix with a spoon.
  5. Pat the mixture into a 9x13 pan.
  6. Then in a microwave melt all the chips. Stir often.
  7. Spread the melted chips over the rice krispies.
  8. Cover and refrigerate until the choc. is set.

  • 6 cups of rice krispies
  • 1.5 cups of peanut butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of light corn syrup
  • 12 or 18 oz of choc chips
  • 12 or 18 oz of butterscotch chips
